75 years

To celebrate the Warriors 75th anniversary as an NBA franchise, we teamed with America’s Got Talent winner Brandon Leake to create a poetic tribute to Warriors history. I directed this piece for the campaign, which won an Emmy for Best Sports Video feature.

I wrote this piece in 2021, during the height of the Pandemic as the country was reckoning with the recent murder of George Floyd. It earned a Bronze medal at Social Good category of Clio Sports awards.

I drafted this note on behalf of the Warriors to Vice President Kamala Harris as a thank you for her service and for representing the city of Oakland and the Bay Area with her leadership.

OAKLAND FOREVER CAMPAIGn

The 2020-21 Golden State Warriors featured a new jersey commemorating 47 seasons in its previous home, Oakland, California. I wrote content for the Studio Team and Brand Marketing campaign titled ‘Oakland Forever’.

I also write headlines and short copy. This is for Chase Center’s opening.

I’m grateful to have co-written this video for the Warriors 2022 Gold Blooded campaign, staring the heart and soul of the team, Draymond Green.

Juneteenth education motion graphic.

Copywriting brought to life by the talented Motion Graphics team at GSW. This was to educate our fanbase on the meaning and significance of Juneteenth.

EMPOWERED JERSEY RELEASE

To launch the Warriors 2022-23 City Edition uniform, a collaboration with Bay Area artist Allison Heuman, I wrote this video script which was produced by the Warriors Studio team to honor women in our community who have served as icons in the Bay Area. I also named the campaign, Empowered, which was awarded Activation of the Year by the NBA.

2023 Playoffs TV spot

For the 2023 Playoffs campaign, I was tasked with writing a TV commercial that drove ticket sales and got fans excited about the upcoming playoffs. The approach called for a narrative angle, creating empathy for the team by making sure fans felt they were a part of a larger story that we’re all creating together.
